Vacation Galore

The Nami Seom Experience

look bitch there's a car behind you

Koreans are celebrating Chuseok this week. Everyone's enjoying a five day long holiday (September 21-26). I decided to tag along with Jo and her friends last Monday to make my vacation worthwhile.

Jo brought us to Nami Island, famous for the Winter Sonata, a Korean soap opera which was really popular back in 2003. I think it was also a big hit in the Philippines back in 2004.

Had a great time and got to meet new cool people -- Anari, her husband Jun, her aunt and two wacky uncles, who provided the group with hilarious antics through out the almost ten hour long commutation.

Namsan Picnic

As if the trip in Nami Seom wasn't enough, Jo organized a picnic in Namsan. Because of the short notice, we didn't really have enough time to prepare food to feast on, but the great company conciliated the lack of goodies and allayed the the mile long hike we had to endure.

And... I got to see my former room mate, Tita Noemi, also little Gwen, whom I haven't seen in two years. The last time I saw her, she could barely walk. Now she's a bubbling tiny person who speaks her mind in English and in Korean.

Been there... we went there before the big drama. I still can't forgive the bitch. You see her around give her one of those famous bitch-slap of yours. Please?

We should go back together and party in the ferry
